We welcome visitors to the farm to experience a deeper interaction with the animals. We have a shepherd’s hut, a type of gypsy caravan, which can accommodate two people. There is a separate ablution block with hot showers and composting toilets. Guests are also welcome, indeed encouraged, to dine with the family (and any four footed friends who may join us) in the main house in the evenings. Sponsors can enjoy a limited number of overnight stays free of charge, otherwise the cost is R250 per person per night which includes breakfast at our vegan restaurant, Pure Cafe, in Greyton.
The sanctuary hosts regular retreats based at the farm and at the Greyton EcoCamp. Situated just 3 kms from the farm and Greyton village, the EcoCamp offers a mix of shady woodland, two rivers and open spaces with outstanding views of the mountains. A typical weekend retreat will include vegan meals at the EcoCamp and Pure Cafe, regular visits to the sanctuary, vegan wine tasting and tapas at our neighbours' Swallowhill Winery, massage and osteopathy sessions, yoga, guided meditations, fynbos hikes, music sessions and presentations from vegan nutritionists, activists, chefs.
